“The Grand Lake” is an animated series set in and around Lake Merritt, Oakland. The lake is North America’s oldest wildlife sanctuary.
Created by Matty Stone , the cartoons center around Brooklyn the Pigeon, Wayne the Raccoon, Madison the Goose, and Fallon the Squirrel. All of the main characters are named after streets that are around Lake Merritt.
